The exquisite Villa Angin lies at the end of a small and quiet street in Legian, just a two minute walk to the shops and restaurants on Jalan Legian. Towering wooden gates open to reveal an enclave of tranquillity, perfectly blending modern day amenities with ethnic chic.
The villa's centrepiece is a T-shaped swimming pool, shaded by palms, bridged by an arched walkway and ending in a cascading waterfall. On either side of the pool is a colonnade with wooden decking that leads to the cavernous sky lit living area. The room is furnished with two giant rattan sofas, a long solid wood dining table with leather-backed directors chairs, has a drinks bar and features a collection of ethnic art curios. A deck, with lazy chairs and hammocks, runs along three sides of the room and faces idyllic garden ponds.
Both the master and guest bedrooms have walkthrough dressing rooms and high tech en suite bathrooms. At the end of the garden is the guest bungalow, constructed of dark wood, with ochre hangings and furnishings and separate bathroom facilities. Entrance through antique wooden gates to lower garden and twin bedded guest cottage with mosquito nets, fan, stereo and garden style en-suite with shower, wash basin and toilet.
MAIN LEVEL
Steps, passed ‘T’ shaped swimming pool to main house and large open living and dining area with surrounding wooden balconies and 6 ceiling fans. Comfortable lounge seating for 8 people, stereo, projection screen and dining table for 8 – 10 people. Walkway by pool to modern kitchen which features oven, hob, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee filter, fridge/freezer, ice machine and juicer. The master bedrooms has a canopied (mosquito net) king bed with A/C, safe and walk-in closet. En-suite garden style, with shower, wash basin and toilet. On opposite side of pool, across bridge, is the 3rd bedroom with twin beds, mosquito net, A/C, safe and walk-in closet. En-suite with shower, wash basin and toilet. Interconnecting through closet to TV room (can sleep 2 extra people) with satellite TV, ceiling fan, DVD and VCD.
