Villa Bella has an enviable location, set amidst the terraced rice fields of Kuwum, a quiet Hindu village only ten minutes away from Seminyak. This peaceful rustic setting makes for an ideal family holiday with the best of both worlds. It is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Bali's tourist hotspots to ensure peace and quiet but close enough to allow easy access to them when required.
On entering the villa through its antique wooden gates, guests are met by a stone Buddha statue, immediately setting the tone of harmonious relaxation that the villa exudes. A raja-style sofa and chairs provide creature comforts in an open living room that steps down into the gardens. The upstairs bedroom has a private terrace with excellent views and at the rear of the villa, a modern kitchen adjoins an open breakfast bale, flanked on two sides by teeming lily ponds.
Villa Bella is encompassed by beautiful Balinese gardens, buzzing with colourful hibiscus and ginger flowers. The sun sets directly opposite the villa and the warm afternoon light over the swimming pool, is softened by the bamboo, banana palms, coconut and mango trees that fill the garden.
MAIN LEVEL
Entry to the villa is through a set of antique wooden gates that open onto a stone courtyard. The courtyard connects an open corridor to a series of pathways around a central lily pond - that is adjacent to a fully equipped kitchen and built-in breakfast/dining area. The kitchen has gas oven and hob, water dispenser, blender, toaster and coffee filter. Laundry facilities are also available. Along the corridor are 2 arched doorways leading to a spacious open-planned living and dining pavilion with comfortable seating for 8 to 10 guests. Equipment includes satellite TV, CD stereo, VCD and a selection of movies, magazines, games and books.
From the main corridor you access the 2 separate air-conditioned bedrooms and 2 separate private bathrooms with al fresco tubs and showers, wash basin and WC. Each double bedroom has a canopied 4-poster bed, A/C, antique wooden cupboards and both rooms feature their own private verandas with built-in sitting areas and garden views. A separate room which doubles as an office (it has a telephone and fax) or an extra single bedroom and is located at the far end of the main corridor.
